Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) develops educational opportunities for many of the most eager math students in the world. We have trained tens of thousands of the country’s top math students for over 16 years through our textbook series and our online school. In 2016 we launched AoPS Academy, a family of after-school learning centers for strong math and language arts students in grades 2-12.

We are searching for an insatiably curious, creative, and data-driven ecommerce marketer with a strong PPC and paid social track record to help drive K-12 student enrollment for our online math programs. Art of Problem Solving has successfully trained hundreds of thousands of motivated students in preparation for success at top-tier colleges and careers, and with your help, we hope to reach the next 1,000,000!

You’re obsessed with conversion rate optimization and love spending your days deep in the channel-weeds: testing and optimizing our paid campaigns to find the perfect formulas of channels, bids, audiences, messaging and creative to continually improve our cost-per-acquisition rates by 3%, 5%, 8% and 30% at a time.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Build, manage and continuously optimize our paid ecommerce marketing channels and campaigns (Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and more).
• Design, implement and analyze website conversion rate optimization (CRO) tests through Hotjar, Google Optimize, and Google Analytics.
• Prepare performance-marketing results and recommendation reports using channel-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and our proprietary marketing attribution dashboards.
• Manage our affiliate, referral and influencer marketing campaigns.
• Optimize email nurturing and automation campaigns to improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Manage organic keyword research and implementation strategies.
• Collaborate on creative optimization with writing and design resources.
• Search out potential customer roadblocks and friction across the customer journey and work to develop testable solutions.

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
• 3+ years ecommerce marketing experience managing paid search and social campaigns (>$20k/month)
• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of paid marketing channels, targeting and capabilities (Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and more)
• Can demonstrate success record and portfolio of improving PPC and paid social performance
• Strong quantitative skills to implement data-driven decision making
• Strong written communication skills to effectively collaborate with subject matter experts and teams across the organization
• Well-versed in Google Analytics and data analysis
• Experience with SEO, conversion rate optimization and landing page design

This full-time position will be based at our headquarters in sunny San Diego, CA (we are working remotely until it is safe to go back to the office). We are also open to the option of this being a remote position for the right candidate if moving to San Diego is not possible.
