5 Interview Tips That Will Help – Part II

The interview and how you handle yourself are some of the
most important aspects of the job search. Here are five tips to help in your
interview:

  1. Demonstrate your interest with the interviewer and the company you are interviewing with. Get the interviewer to answer questions about the company.
  2. Good communication skills are essential. If this is something that you need to work on practice on your family and record yourself to see how you appear and what you can change.
  3. Try not to make negative statements about your previous employer or job. Show that you have learned something from the experience.
  4. Show how your past accomplishment helped the company reach goals or needs. Have specific examples ready if needed.
  5. Interview follow through. Write a than you note to every person that you met at the company you interviewed with.

These are just some interview tips that will help in your interview. Just try an remember that you need to put your best foot forward, you are selling yourself.
