alliance withLaBaugh and Associates
LOUISVILLE, KY (February 4, 2002)
– Louisville-focused www.careerbarn.com, which offers job seekers and employers
time-sensitive and targeted services, just announced expansion of
its resources through an alliance with LaBaugh and Associates.
Careerbarn.com was launched in June
2000, and has expanded steadily with the site's traffic increases.
The site currently offers features like 48 career/job fields, a
career articles section and national market news, two income
calculators, a "Job of the Week," "Employer of the
Month," message board, and links to other Louisville
sites.
Bernie Fussenegger, President of
Careerbarn.com, said the new alliance between his site and LaBaugh and Associates will allow Careerbarn.com to provide
job seekers access to more face-to-face human resources, in addition
to its electronic tools.
Through links
to a "Career Navigator" from the homepage and job category
pages, visitors will be able to access multiple career counseling
services provided by LaBaugh and Associates, including:

market-driven, resumes' written by Ph.D.s and human-resources
professionals.

individual's strengths, skills and personal
preferences resulting in a portrait of the next, ideal, job.

link, available in early February, Dr. Thomas LaBaugh, President

Dr. Thomas LaBaugh
has a breadth of experience in career counseling and has served
as a professional speaker, consultant, a dean of admissions, a college
vice president, and a marketing instructor. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College, an MBA
from Central Michigan University, and a Ph.D. from Michigan State
University.
