This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing and developing internal and external customer needs over the lifecycle of the product or program. Includes interfacing with all engineering disciplines to ensure continuity through all stages of the system development with system level architecture, functional allocation, major interface definition, feasibility and trade studies.

The following qualifications are required:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
Ability to relocate to West Michigan

The following skills are required:
Experience with systems requirement development, management, methodologies and tools.
Proficiency with customer, system and detailed requirements.
Understanding of good development and testing practices
Ability to communicate and collaborate within Gentex

The following skills and qualifications are desirable:
Experience in DOORS
Automotive experience
Experience with embedded products
Background in a technical position such as software or hardware development, testing, systems engineering, etc
Proficiency in SysML, DXL, and/or C++
Experience with CMMI, SPICE, or DO-178B
