The selected candidate responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with JAFAN 6/3, DCID 6/3 and ICD 503. Knowledge of Northrop Grumman security requirements, technical knowledge of various operating systems and NISPOM Chapter 8 is considered a plus. This position is in direct support of the ISSM/IAM. Responsibilities include but are not limited to configuring or verifying the configuration of information systems, perform risk managed downloads, develop Computer Security education and awareness, preparing of System Security Plans to be submitted to the customer, security reviews and inspections of classified computers systems and networks, security incident investigations and cleanup, guiding and training team members, auditors and system administrators on the current system security requirements. Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products. Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.This position requires skills in: leadership, team building; customer service; verbal communication; written communications; several computer applications such as, Microsoft Office, Access and Visio.
